Brotherhood Story: Ankara School Exhibition Catalogue

The “Brotherhood Story: Ankara School” exhibition, which opened at the Seoul International Book Fair on behalf of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and South Korea, addressed the solidarity of the Turkish army, who extended a helping hand to Korea, with the Koreans not only on the front lines but also behind the lines.

Turkish brigades, which achieved great success in the battles they participated in, brought pride to the Turkish Armed Forces and earned the respect and love of both their allies and the South Koreans. The Turkish Brigade, known as the “North Star” meaning “guide” due to their heroism on the front, is centered on the relations established with the civilian population by the Ankara School, where orphans are educated and rehabilitated. This school, opened and supported by the Turkish Brigade, is a valuable symbol of the historical and friendly bond established between our country and South Korea.

The catalogue of this exhibition, which was held at the 2017 Seoul International Book Fair and narrated the relations between Turkey and South Korea and the Ankara School through various photographs, documents and historical objects, was designed and published.
