Organized by World Ethnosports Confederation, Ethnosports Culture Festival was held for the first time on 26-28 August, 2016, in Küçükçekmece Bezirganbahçe Square.
Carrying the slogan “This is the battlefield!”, the event held activities such as oil wrestling matches, jereed, mas and aba wrestling, traditional kids games and Ottoman archery. Foods from Cental Asian and Anatolian cuisines that are unmatched, nomad culture and life in haircloth tents, bazaar of historical handicrafts, kılıçkalkan shows, horseback acrobatics and concerts were among greatly interesting elements.
Aiming to introduce and popularize our traditional games, the festival was attended by approximately 300 thousand people from around the world.
Of re-introducing endangered games to the masses in Küçükçekmece Bezirganbahça Square on 26-28 August, 2016.
