ASKFEST – Europe Sports and Culture Festival Lippepark

ASKFEST (Avrupa Spor ve Kültür Festivali/Europe Sports and Culture Festival) is designed to gather the Turkish diaspora in Europe with other communities together for a festival full of sports and culture. The purpose of ASKFEST is to gather people together who work and live together in sports, games and entertainment as well. ASKFEST is going to open its doors in another European city every year, presenting newer opportunities for people from Türkiye and other nations to meet again.

The aim of ASKFEST is to bring Germans and Turks together in sports by using sports’ team spirit and its uniting mood, to deepen the understanding by introducing them to ancient histories of cultures and having a great time in fun activities. By this event, it is intended to introduce Turkic people to other communities in the continent and secure its position by sports.

Europe Sports and Culture Festival was held in between June 28 and June 30 2019 in Hamm – Lippepark. By the keen participation from Turkish and German communities, the festival took place including many surprising contents, sports and cultural activities.
