4th Ethnosports Culture Festival / Yeşilköy Atatürk Airport

With its partner countries working towards the promotion, popularization and professionalization of traditional sports and games, The World Ethnosports Confederation sees traditional sports as a cultural heritage and aims to protect the virtues of civilization through these sports and games. Springing forth from the belief that our traditional sports and games shouldn’t be left rotting in the dusty chronicles of history and that they have become cultural codes that we cannot rip out from ourselves through decades of repetition, various activities have been held in the national and international arena for many years.

Notably the most important amongst these events is the Ethnosports Culture Festival held in Istanbul annually. The Ethnosports Culture Festival is an international event where our traditional sports and games, the tangible and intangible elements of our culture and civilization are exhibited and performed with the attendees. With its enriched content the 4th Ethnosports Culture Festival held between 3-6 October 2019 in Atatürk Airport with the motto “Come Hell or High Water” has been met with excitement amongst its guests and attendees.
